Overview
Cine Rent West is a Portland sound stage and lighting rental house, the space behind a steady stream of commercial, music video, and documentary productions across the Pacific Northwest. I lead social media for CRW as their Social Media Director, owning the channel from strategy through execution.
Role
This is a lead content role, not a camera for hire. I set the content direction, research and build the formats that fit the studio’s audience and business, and write the pieces that tie them together. I decide what gets captured as productions move through the space, shoot and edit it, and run the posting cadence that keeps the channels active between shoots. Strategy, formats, writing, capture, edit, and delivery, all of it.
Wins
I’ve run Cine Rent West’s social channels for three years. A few wins along the way: a single reel, “Is the M18 Obsolete?”, broke out to 55,105 views and 340 new followers. In one quarter, reach jumped +642%, almost all of it organic. And across the account, 87.6% of views come from people who don’t follow it yet, which is how the channel keeps finding its next audience.
