The Film
Against the Code is a feature documentary about the world of indie game development: the people who build games outside the mainstream, the culture they’ve built around it, and what it costs to keep going.

Role
I’m the lead creative producer. On an independent doc that means wearing a lot of hats: I help drive the fundraising, run production, shoot in the field, and supervise post. It’s a real collaboration with a team, and I own a meaningful part of it, from the grant applications through the final cut.
Support
The film is grant funded. It’s backed by a Precipice Fund grant, supported by the Andy Warhol Foundation, plus a grant from the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC).
